Cinemark And AMC Get Back Into Action In LA

One of the largest film theatre chain in the US, Cinemark Holdings is all set to open its theatres in the Greater Los Angeles area. More than 10 theatres in the region will open their doors from today. All cinema halls will follow COVID-19 protocols and safety measures to ensure safety and an immersive cinematic experience for the viewers.

The full list of theater reopening dates and the availability of the tickets is put up on the official website of Cinemark. As of now, Cinemark reopened around 90% of its circuit in the US. The theatres will now open with the existing releases like Tom and Jerry: The Movie, Chaos Walking, Long Weekend, Boogie, The Courier and Wonder Woman 1984. The fans will be soon able to book tickets for upcoming films like Godzilla Vs Kong, A Quiet Place Part 2, Mortal Kombat and Black Widow.

AMC Theatres, which is one of the largest theatrical exhibitors in the United States, in Europe & the Middle East, and in the world, also announced that two of its flagship locations in Los Angeles, AMC Burbank 16 and AMC Century City 15, will reopen on Monday afternoon, March 15. AMC is planning to reopen all the remaining 23 movie theatres in Los Angeles County from March 19. AMC is also looking forward to reopening its 56 locations in the California region, after getting approvals from the local authorities.
