First Look Poster: ‘The Intern’

Bollywood’s tall, versatile, and most gorgeous actress, Deepika Padukone shares the first look poster of the most-anticipated film ‘The Intern’ where the film will also have the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The duo is reuniting after the film Piku.

Earlier, late Rishi Kapoor was roped in for the film. But, with his unfortunate demise, the filmmakers have welcomed Big B on board. The Intern is a remake of a Hollywood classic film with the same title. “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again! Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern,” wrote Deepika.

The Hollywood film starred ace actor, Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in the lead roles. This comedy drama was a blockbuster and fans are expecting to be turning out as good as the original. The story is all about what happens after a 70-year-old widower (Big B) applies to fill the newly conceived position of a senior intern for an online fashion website under Deepika Padukone, the CEO of the company. The film has titbits of them sharing an unlikely rapport and friendship.

The poster shared by Deepika is an intriguing silhouette image where the duo is seen walking in the opposite directions carrying their officer bags. The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and is produced by Sunir Kheterpal and Deepika Padukone.
