The heart-rendering, poignant, and painfully tear-jerking video is doing rounds on the internet where the missing CRPF soldier Rakeshwar Singh Manhas’s 5-year-old daughter, Shragvi is seen making an emotional appeal for her father’s release from Maoist captivity.

“Papa ki pari Papa ko bohat miss kar rahi hai. Mai apnay Papa se bohat pyaar karti hun. Please, Naxal uncle, mere Papa ko ghar bhej do (Papa’s fairy is missing her papa, I love my father very much, please Naxal uncle spare my father and send him home),” Manhas’s daughter is heard saying in the video.

The girl’s appeal for her father’s safe return is leaving everyone teary-eyed. The girl is also seen crying in emotional pain and it is vividly seen in her eyes how much she is missing her father. Her uncle, who was seen holding her and people in the house was also seen crying after hearing the little girl’s plea.

It is believed that CRPF soldier Manhas has been abducted by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur where the CRPF personnel were attacked on Saturday leading to the death of 23 jawans. Manhas’ wife, Meenu says that she is hopeful that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah would soon bring back her husband.

“Prime Minister ensured the safe return of wing commander Abhinandan from Pakistan and I am hopeful that he would ensure that my husband, too, returns safely to us,” Meenu said. Meanwhile, PC Gupta commandant from the CRPF headquarters assured the family that the entire CRPF and the Union Government will strive hard to get Manhas back.
