Popular microblogging site, Twitter has gone down as its services are reporting a lag across the globe. “The term you entered did not bring up any results. Please try again later.” and “Cannot retrieve Tweets at this time. Please try again later” are some of things that are popping up when users are trying to enter a tweet.
“Tweets may not be loading for some of you. We are working on fixing the problem,” said Twitter in a statement.
‘Log out’ issues are being faced by desktop users while mobile users are able to access information but are unable to make a post. It’s the same case for Android and iOS users.
Tech experts say that this is the longest outage ever reported by Twitter and being the weekend, many users will be online and now they are freaking out.
Globally Twitter has 330 million users as of 2019 and this number could have easily gone up considering its popularity.
