We are watching the huge need and scarcity of oxygen concentrators at this time. An IPL team by mistake took away a man’s oxygen concentrator from the flight they were traveling.
Anwar was carrying an oxygen concentrator for his father personally on an InfiGo flight from Bengaluru to Delhi on the 26th of this month. He could not find the carton which had an oxygen cylinder at the Delhi T3 terminal baggage claim. It could not be traced by the staff even after three hours as they said it could have gone to the cargo section.
Anwar was reportedly reached by a person with a picture of the carton asking for confirmation, nearly after a day. The airline checked CCTV footage only to find that the Chennai Super Kings team has landed from Vistara airlines at the same time as Anwar’s flight. The concentrator was picked up by a CSK team member as part of the luggage of Chennai Super Kings.
It was retrieved after April 27th night, as the CSK realized that they have an extra piece of baggage. Today, April 28, Anwar received the concentrator in Delhi. An airline porter picked the items from the belt for the team CSK. The players usually travel on chartered flights while the team members fly on regular flights.
