The second wave of Covid-19 in India has become so big that fear and panic due to the deaths around is also taking the lives away. While the panic is scaring many people to deaths after getting infected, there are others who are ignoring the safety measures even at this point in time.
The health experts and government have been asking the people to wear masks and that plays a major role in saving people from getting infected with Covid-19. But, according to a recent survey, 50 percent of people in the country are still not wearing masks.
According to the survey and the scary results, 64% percent of mask wearers are not covering their nose but only their mouth. Around 20 percent of mask wearers are having it on the chin and 2% have masks on the neck. Only 14% of the total population are wearing it correctly, covering the nose, mouth, and chin and with a clip on the nose.
There are more than one lakh active cases in the country, in which 50,000 to nearly a lakh cases are active from nine states while 50,000 cases come from 19 other states and union territories.
The central government and state governments have been asking again to wear masks along with the physical distance.
