The hospitality industry is badly hit with the pandemic. Some five star hotels across several cities have turned into quarantine centres for overseas travellers during the first wave and even in the second wave, a few are operating accordingly.
But then this is not a permanent solution and so five star hotels in Mumbai, Hyderabad and a few more cities are coming up with ‘Vaccination Packages.’
Wonder what is ‘Vaccination Package’? Well these star hotels are tying up with big corporate hospitals to provide vaccination drive and after that you can stay in the same hotel for a day/night. The package comes with inclusion of breakfast, lunch and dinner with free wifi facility. Post the vaccine jab, if you are feeling low, the hotels would also offer clinical consultations.
But all this comes under a price tag. The Lalit hotel in Mumbai offers this package from Rs 3500 to Rs 5000 whereas the Radisson of Hyderabad is offering the five star hotel stay at Rs 2999 only.
Not a bad marketing idea though. We have to see how the public would react to this ‘Vaccination Package.’
