Biopics have become a trend these days. One of the major subjects that intrigues the audiences is the biographical dramas on sportsmen. In the past, we have seen many successful sports biopics like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
Recently, a Tamil media reported that a biopic is being made on Indian star all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin. It also added that Ashok Selvan will be playing the lead role in it. Quoting this article, Ashok said that he is not responsible for any such speculations and tagged Ashwin in that tweet.
Commenting on the same, Ashwin tweeted, “Bro, let’s get that CSK part of the script sorted out before revealing the collaboration. Once everything is agreed upon, we will take the next step.”
Making a biopic on Ashwin will be an interesting idea for sure and Ashok can pull off the role well because he is a talented actor and also his facial features match Ashwin’s. The bowling all-rounder made his debut in 2010 and has been a star performer across all the formats. Of late, he has been playing extensively in Test Cricket. Ashwin played a vital role in helping India win the Test series against England earlier this year.
