A recent video has gone viral leaving the internet in blue and dispirited because it shows the devious trick of stealing pizza by restaurant employees without customers knowing. Beaking the faith with customers, the video is now making us paranoid and perhaps we might soon start measuring the pizza every single time from here on.
The video shows cutting a big chunk of the customer’s pizza from the centre before delivering it and the wildest part is they trespass it so perfectly that no one can differentiate the size or missing parts. It also tells us that we all have a thick chance of paying extra for a pizza that’s robbed under the table.
The employee can be seen placing the uncut pizza into its box and then uses the pizza cutter to take a giant triangular slice right out of the middle of the pie. Then he pushed the two “halves” together and proceeded to cut the whole pizza into regular slices. He stole nearly 15 per cent of the pizza and this breaks our heart.
The social media was filled with melancholy and some even expressed anger. Blown away with the trick, “Nothing surprises me anymore,” wrote one viewer. “No wonder pizzas are getting smaller and smaller,” commented another. The video had garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube.”
