Kareena Kapoor toiled a lot to gain a ‘size-zero’ figure back in 2008 and after her films Jab We Met and Tashan got released, the size zero trend sparked all over the nation. But to gain the desired size, Kareena followed strict diet regime and well-planned fitness mantra under the supervision of Rujuta Diwekar, a renowned nutritionist and dietician.
In the past ten years, Kareena kept fluctuating her weight according to her roles. Moreover, she became a mother of two boys. Not to mention, postnatal hormones, lack of adequate sleep, and breastfeeding make a woman change her body shape. And Kareena is no exception. She experienced weight gains and bloating post pregnancies. Now after four months of delivering her second son, Kareena says she is back to gradually finding her way back to yoga.
Kareena Kapoor marked International Yoga Day with a picture of herself posing in her house. The actor was seen wearing all-blue athletic wear and balancing herself on one foot. She also wrote a long note as a caption. “For me, my yoga journey began in 2006 when I signed Tashan and Jab We Met… an incredible one… which kept me fit and strong. Now after two babies and four months postpartum… this time I was just exhausted and in too much pain to get back but today I’m slowly and steadily getting back at it.”
“My yoga time is my me time… and of course, consistency is key… so, keep at it people On that note, I’m going to #StretchLikeACat and hope you do too,” she concluded her post. The actress practices yoga sincerely and enthusiastically from time immemorial. Apart from cardio exercises, she performs yoga for an hour daily in spite of her busy schedule. After giving birth to her second son in February, Kareena was soon spotted doing brisk walks near her residence. She resumed working out, one step at a time. And kudos to her great efforts in staying healthy and fit.
