Secunderabad Railway Station is one of the busiest railway stations in Hyderabad city and a heavy crowd was witnessed today. The station was flooded with passengers, which was all uninhabited for three long months due to lockdown. However, the railway station is back to normal with a huge rush as the operation of daily special trains has resumed.
Thousand of passengers were seen forming a queue, snaking down the lanes outside the railway station. But, we do not see social distancing being followed as most of the people were excited to reach their destinations, forgetting all the guidelines. Apart from Secunderabad, a few other railway stations in Telangana was also abuzz with the same situation.
The first train to commence today was Hyderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express, from Nampally station at 6.25 am. The South Central officials have ensured strict guidelines to follow with pertinent penalties.
From Secunderabad, Secunderabad-Danapur Expres departed at 9.35 am today and Secunderabad-Guntur Golcond Express departed at 12.20 pm. Though passengers were asked to come 90 minutes before the departure, they were seen occupying places three hours before, forming long queues.
