Pics: Total Solar Eclipse Moves Past US

A total solar eclipse passed over North America on Monday and millions of people witnessed the show.

The solar eclipse path has more than 32 million people in the US and many of them witness using the proper glasses and other methods. People outside the path were still able to see a partial solar eclipse.

The eclipse lasted for almost 4 minutes, according to NASA. The next solar eclipse won’t be visible across the US until August 2044.
