US: Trump Trolls Trudeau, Says Canada Should Merge With US

Published by

Canada PM Justin Trudeau announced he is resigning as the Prime Minister of Canada and also as the leader of the Liberal Party. US President-elect Donald Trump yet again trolled Canada’s PM after the announcement today.

Donald Trump suggested the US and Canada should merge, saying in a social media post it would no longer need US help to stay afloat. Donald Trump in his Truth Social post wrote, ‘Many people in Canada being the 51st state. The US can no longer suffer the massive trade deficits and subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Justin knew this, and resigned.’

‘If Canada merged with the US, there would be no tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese ships that are constantly surrounding them. Together, what a great NATION it would be!!!’, he added.

Trump earlier trolled Trudeau last month as Canada’s ‘governor’ after they had dinner. He also criticized Deputy PM and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland for what he described as totally toxic behavior.
