India’s versatile Malayalam actor Nedumudi Venu passed away on Monday. He breathed his last a few days after recovering from Covid19. The 73-year-old actor was undergoing stomach-related treatment for quite some time now and complained of breathlessness and uneasiness this morning. Though the actor was never seen in a straight Telugu film, he was still a popular face among the South for his appearances in Bharateeyudu and Aparichitudu.
N Venu acted in more than 500 films, including Malayalam and Tamil. He also acted in one English film in 2017, titled Chaurahen. The exceptionally talented actor was the winner of three National Film Awards and six Kerala state film awards.
Not only acting but also aced in playing Mridangam and as a folk singer. Many celebrities expressed their condolences and shock over the demise of Venu. His posthumous release would be Indian 2 and a couple of Tamil flicks.
