Mass Maharaja scored another flop this year with Ramarao on Duty. This failure is raising serious questions about Ravi Teja’s choices these days. In the last few years, he scored only two hits (Raja The Great and Krack). The rest of his all films were flops.
Currently, he is doing Dhamaka under the direction of Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Tiger Nageshwara Rao with Vamsi, and Ravanasura under the direction of Sudheer Varma. One of these movies is expected to hit the screens by the end of this year.
The rest two films may hit the theatres in the first half of next year. According to the latest buzz, Ravi Teja signed another film recently. Apparently, it will be helmed by Sriwass.
Meanwhile, his fans are unhappy with Ravi’s choice of directors. None of the directors he is currently working with has scored big blockbusters recently. So, all projects can be considered risky moves from the actor.
Fans have opined that Ravi Teja should not team up with outdated directors anymore and instead, he should try collaborating with young and new-age directors like Vivek Athreya, Tharun Bhascker and Anudeep KV. They have the ability to use Ravi Teja’s energy in a unique way, opined the actor’s admirers.
Fans feel that it is high time for him to give chances to young directors. We have to see if Ravi Teja considers these requests or not.
