Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will be seen sharing screen space after a long time in Waltair Veerayya. The film directed by Bobby and produced by Mythri Movie Makers will release on 13th. Today, Mega Mass Party has been celebrated in Vizag in presence of a huge crowd.
While speaking at the event, director Bobby said, “It’s a special moment for me to direct Chiranjeevi garu. My love and respect for him will reflect in this movie. I almost got to spend two years with him. We feel proud to be born as his fans. I’m happy to fulfill my father’s dream of directing Annayya. He was a die-hard fan. I came back to the shoot, just three days after his demise and shot non-stop for 94 days.
I used to wonder why Chiranjeevi garu doesn’t react when some scold him. But he used to tell us that if we scold them back, their families may get hurt. I had this feeling that politics are not correct for you. God gave you a brother, and he will take care of everything. There is only one megastar in the industry. Ravi Teja is the energy I wanted for the movie. This is my 2nd movie with him. I hope I gave my best for the movie. Interval 10 minutes episode will give you poonakaalu. Arachakam Arambham and Poonakaalu Loading is the interval card. I can’t reveal much about Catherine’s character now. It’s a big sankranthi film. The jathara begins from the 13th and I can’t tell when will it end. There will be poonakaalu all through.”
Ravi Teja said, “I won’t tell all the best, a big congratulations to the entire team. It’s going to be a sure shot blockbuster. While Bobby started his journey from Guntur as a fan. My journey started from Vijayawada. Like how Bobby was confident, I also confidently told my friends that one day I would share the stage with Chiranjeevi. I started doing friend characters, then I played his brother, and finally Waltair Veerayya happened.
I never saw him speaking negatively about anybody. I love you Annayya. Bobby met me during Balupu and told me to narrate a story. He made Power with me. He’s a very positive person. He already reached the next level with Waltair Veerayya. I wish to work again with the producers of Mythri Movie Makers. Let’s all meet at the success meet.”
Chiranjeevi said, “I feel emotional whenever I come here. I love Vizag, the people, their mentalities, and the seashore. It’s my dream to build a house here and I recently bought a piece of land here.
Coming to Waltair Veerayya, when Bobby came to narrate me the story, I got a positive feeling. I was spellbound by Bobby’s focus, hard work, and egoless character. He took every suggestion from everyone for the betterment of the script and the movie. I saw four proficient in him- the storyteller, story writer, screenplay writer and finally the director. I gave him the opportunity since I believed in his talent. Waltair Veerayya is an emotional rollercoaster ride. There are 2 episodes in first 25 minutes, and they are like Hollywood movies. This is the movie all my fans have been waiting for. I love those who work hard and I’m a big fan of such people. In that case, I became a fan of Bobby for all his hard work and perseverance.
Charan used to tell a lot about Mythri Movie Makers during Rangasthalam. He wanted me to work under the banner. They will definitely become star producers like Ramanaidu, Allu Aravind etc. I suggest them not to take hasty decisions. We need to have such producers. For the first time, a producer is releasing two movies for same season. It’s their confidence on the subjects. I wish both Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya will become big hits.
Ravi Teja is like my brother. He played a friend in Aaj Ka Goonda Raaj. We did Annayya together. He became Mass Maharaja now. Both the characters will be very interesting. Our scenes came out well. The movie reached the next level with Ravi Teja’s entry. Shruti got a fever, so she couldn’t come. Catherine’s is an important role. It’s a very composed character. Urvashi rocked in the song.
Waltair Veerayya will have high moments for every 10 minutes. Some scenes will thrill you. I can say one thing that Bobby will become a star director, after this movie.”
