Nani and Srikanth Odela give a new definition to the word Mass with their upcoming film Dasara. The makers began the promotions by releasing the teaser in all south Indian languages and Hindi. The teaser actually takes us into the Dharani trance.
The teaser opens with Nani standing before a huge Ravanasura effigy which is ready to be burnt. With the voiceover in the background, we are shown the village and the people in it. Nani makes an entry in style as he drinks liquor in one go. The following episodes show the ferocity of the character who beats others. The malicious smile of the antagonist is enough to tell the malice of the character. There are a fair share of scenes and dialogues that bring out hoots and cheers from the masses. Particularly, the last episode is bang-on.
Adding the extra edge to the narrative are the cinematography, art direction, locales and background score. Everything looks top notch and one is often left spellbound at the dark dreary sequences. Mass madness is at peaks with many heroic scenes.
Nani, as Dharani, lives his character to the fullest and his screen presence definitely has the viewers cheering alongside him. Nani’s stardom is going to reach another level with the movie, going by the teaser. Srikanth Odela makes a grand entry as a director and his work is truly impressive. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas is producing the movie and the production design looked lavish.
The teaser however doesn’t show us Keerthy Suresh who played the leading lady. This massiest blast generates huge curiosity to watch the movie in cinemas. Dasara will hit the screens at a Pan India level on March 30th.
