Big Releases lined up on OTT this week

Even though we don’t have big releases in theatres this Friday, there are some big films lining up for the OTT release on various streaming platforms. Here is a look at them.

Varisu/Vaarasudu:

Thalapathy Vijay’s latest blockbuster Varisu went on to become a blockbuster in Tamil and a hit in Telugu. Now, it is set to entertain the audience right at their homes. Varisu premiered on Amazon Prime Video today (Feb 22). For the overseas audience, it is available on Sun NXT.

Veera Simha Reddy:

Nandamuri Balakrishna scored Sankranthi hit with his new outing Veera Simha Reddy. This Gopichand Malineni directorial features Shruti Haasan and Honey Rose as female leads. It is slated for an OTT premiere on Disney+ Hotstar tomorrow (February 23).

Michael:

Sundeep Kishan’s latest film Michael hit the screens on February 3. Even though the trailer looked promising, the film failed to impress the audience. Thus, it became a disaster at the box office. Within three weeks of its release, it is now set for the OTT premiere. Michael will start streaming on Aha on February 24.

Apart from these big releases, we have Mammooty’s Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam (Feb 23 – Netflix), Tamil series Iru Dhruvam 2 and Kannada film Kranthi are hitting OTT platforms this weekend.
