Film director Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment during #MeToo movement by two actresses and a journalist in the country. Following the accusations, Sajid’s name was then dropped as the director of Housefull 4 and since then, Sajid had been away from the media glare.
Now, an Indian model, Paula, has made same accusations against Sajid in a long Instagram post. Paula herself cited the reason behind keeping quiet during the #MeToo movement stating that she did not have a godfather and had to earn for her family.
Paula said that she had dared to speak now because her parents are not with her anymore. She alleged that Sajid harassed her when she was 17 years old. She writes, “He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me.”
Further, the model said that Sajid Khan asked her to strip in front of him to bag a role in Housefull. The model adds that she does not have any idea about how many more girls with whom Sajid could have behaved in the same manner he did with her. She ended her note with a strong suggestion that people like Sajid should be jailed for casting couch and stealing dreams.
She captioned the post, “Before democracy dies and there is no freedom of speech anymore I thought I should speak (sic)!”
Paula also condemned people who faulted her in the comments on the post. She said that she did not speak up for fame or money but because she felt that she should speak up against harassment, while re-evaluating her life.
