On the centenary birth anniversary of late former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), his family members gathered at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad to pay their respects.
NTR’s sons, MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, Ramakrishna, grandson Junior NTR, and others commemorated the occasion.
While speaking with the media, Balakrishna said they are organizing NTR centenary celebrations in Telugu and worldwide. He emphasized that his father’s legacy extends beyond being a legendary actor; NTR also excelled in politics.
Balakrishna credited NTR for implementing numerous welfare schemes for the underprivileged and making historic decisions such as granting property rights to women. He also highlighted NTR’s significant role in national politics.
The NTR centenary celebrations serve as a platform to honor and remember the remarkable contributions and achievements of the late leader.
