Rashmika Mandanna garnered nationwide popularity with her role in the film “Pushpa.” However, her foray into Bollywood has yet to yield the expected results. Her first Hindi film, “Good Bye,” was a commercial failure, and “Mission Majnu” also didn’t perform exceptionally well. Currently, Rashmika is working on the Hindi movie “Animal” opposite Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Telugu filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Rashmika’s Bollywood career largely depends on the success of Animal. In contrast, Rashmika hasn’t gained much traction in the Tamil film industry. Her debut Kollywood film, “Sultan,” was a disappointment. Later, Vijay’s Varisu also failed to help her career in Tamil cinema. As a result, the opportunities stopped coming her way from Tamil.
As a result, Rashmika is placing high hopes on her upcoming Hindi film “Animal.” Its success could determine her future prospects in Bollywood. Meanwhile, in the Telugu film industry, she has a highly anticipated project in “Pushpa 2” opposite Allu Arjun.
Surprisingly, Rashmika’s focus is less in her native Kannada language. But, even if “Animal” fails, Rashmika hopes to sustain the popularity with “Pushpa 2.” So, this means that her popularity will stay in tact but she should come up with a strategy to constantly attract opportunities.
