Popular Telugu YouTuber Chandu Sai, aka Pakkinti Kurradu, renowned for his socially relevant and message-driven content, has been arrested by the police. The arrest unfolded after a young woman from Narsinghi filed a complaint against Chandu Sai, accusing him of deceiving and raping her in the name of love.
The victim recounted her experience, stating that Chandu Sai betrayed her and later subjected her to sexual assault. The victim detailed in her police complaint that Chandu Sai, whose real name is Chandrasekhar Sai Kiran, manipulated her emotionally and took advantage of her on April 25, 2021, purportedly on the pretext of celebrating her birthday.
As a consequence, cases have been filed not only against Chandu Sai but also against his parents and two others involved in the matter.
The young woman decided to seek justice by reporting the incident to the police, resulting in the registration of cases against Chandu Sai under charges of rape, cheating, and violations of the SC and ST Atrocities Act.
