‘Siren’ is one of the upcoming Tamil films, featuring Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Scheduled for theatrical release on February 16, 2024, in both Tamil and Telugu languages, the film has already generated significant buzz in Kollywood. The makers released the trailer yesterday.
The trailer showcases Jayam Ravi as a convict claiming innocence, pitted against Keerthy Suresh’s character, a determined cop named Nandhini. The dynamic between the two protagonists sets the stage for an intense and emotional journey, as the protagonist seeks redemption and reconciliation with his past.
Directed by Antony Bhagyaraj, ‘Siren’ marks his directorial debut, following his previous contributions as a screenwriter to acclaimed films. Produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar under the banner of Home Movie Makers, the film features Anupama Parameshwaran, Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, and Tulasi.
The digital and satellite rights have been acquired by Star Network, while Disney+ Hotstar holds the OTT rights, although the official release date for the latter is yet to be announced.
