Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey announced his retirement from acting in a shocking post. The actor first ventured into the TV industry and then entered mainstream cinema. In a post, he revealed that he had collected a lot of memories for a lifetime, and two more films are pending before he officially bid goodbye.
Vikrant starrer 12th Fail is one of the super hits that was released last year. Later, he was seen in Sector 36 and The Sabarmathi Report. Now, the actor surprised everyone by calling it a quit.
“The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realize it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor,” wrote the actor on social media.
“So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. The last two movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between,” he added.
Currently, Vikrant is working on two projects—Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. Vikrant began his acting journey with the show Dhoom Machao Dhoom. Later, he acted in Balika Vadhu in 2009 and debuted with Lootera. A Death in the Gunj, Ginny Weds Sunny, Haseen Dilruba, Love Hostel, and 12th Fail are his other hit films.
