It’s the season of anthologies. Digital streaming platform Netflix is in the front-race in producing anthologies. ‘Paava Kadhaigal’ featuring Prakash Raj, Sai Pallavi and others was the recent Anthology released on the platform last month and it garnered rave reviews.
Netflix has now initiated talks for a new Telugu anthology and even locked Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame to direct a portion of this anthology. It is buzzed that the anthology will revolve around theme love and going to be a bold one. This is Netflix’s second anthology in Telugu after Lust Stories.
Ajay Bhupathi is presently working on Mahasamudhram which has Sharwanand and Siddharth in the lead roles. He has principally agreed to join hands with Netflix for an as-yet-untitled anthology.
Ajay Bhupathi has shot to fame with raw love drama RX 100 and thanks to his perfection and uncompromising in casting, scripting that took a lot of time to take Mahasamudram onto the floors. He will now be directing an anthology for Netflix.
An anthology is usually a collection of 4 different stories directed by as many filmmakers. As for Netflix’s latest Telugu project, they have brought Ajay Bhupathi on-board and the other three directors will be finalized soon.
