With just two films to his kitty, Prashanth Neel turned everyone’s attention to him. After making a successful debut with the Kannada film Ugramm in 2014, the director teamed up with Yash again for the KGF series. The first chapter released in 2018 and became a big hit. The second chapter of the series is due for release this year. With these three films, director Neel created a mark of his in the industry as a successful ‘mass’ director. There are high-voltage action scenes in the film and his films are rated ‘A’ for the violence he depicts on the screen.
But can you imagine that he was frightened to get the vaccine? The director took the first dose of the COVID vaccine today and shared a picture from the hospital. We can see the director covering his face with anxiety while the nurse is giving the shot.
Sharing the picture, he wrote, “Finally got myself vaccinated!!!
If you havent , please do book a slot and get your family and yourself vaccinated,” and the reactions to his post are hilarious.
Raveena Tandon who is playing Ramika Sen, the Prime Minister of India in KGF: Chapter 2 replied, “Haha this is so cute Prashanth! Should’ve seen my vaccine video. For all our bravado!” and Neel replied back saying, “Mam maybe we should see that video,that might motivate everyone. Since mine hasnt clearly.”
KGF: Chapter 2 is scheduled for release on 16th July 2021.
