Communist leader Narayana criticised Megastar Chiranjeevi and added that the Tollywood hero has done nothing to resolve the issues pertaining to the film industry. Narayana called the press to talk on the controversy surrounding the release of ‘Bheemla Naayak’ in AP.
“Last night I watched ‘Bheemla Naayak’ under a tense atmosphere. The AP government is responsible for creating this sort of environment near theatres. Powerstar fans rebelled against these restrictions and so there occurred a law & order problem. Films like ‘Bheemla Naayak’ and ‘Akhanda’ provide entertainment and have no message to people,” said Narayana.
Reacting to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s meeting with Jagan, the CPI leader added that along with Chiru, few more heroes also met the CM because their big budget films are ready for release. “Chiru wanted to set up a studio in Vizag while the other heroes wanted some concession for their films releasing next month. They talked about their issues and left whereas the issues pertaining to the film industry are lying pending,” said Narayana.
Finding fault with Chiru further the CPI leader questioned why did not Chiru request or suggest CM Jagan to talk to other associations in the film industry? “Chiru arranged a special flight for his meeting with Jagan because he was selfish and I watched the video in which he was pleading with Jagan with folded hands. Jagan is like son to Chiru but the actor became zero before Jagan,” added Narayana.
“There are associations for exhibitors, theatres and MAA. But CM Jagan did not talk to them and if he had involved them, a solution should have arrived by now. Chiru and other heroes have no connection with the present controversy. It is evident that AP CM Jagan wanted to trouble his political opponent but it showed indirect impact on the entire industry which entertains people. So Jagan should be blamed for the crisis and he should put aside his arrogant attitude,” remarked Narayana.
