The Telugu Desam Party is hugely contemplating whether to attend the upcoming Budget Assembly sessions owing to the incidents that occurred in previous sessions. There was especially a big suspense on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s presence because he was allegedly humiliated by YCP MLAs.
The Politburo of TDP met this evening and specifically discussed the party’s attendance in Assembly sessions. Initially the politburo of TDP decided to stay away from the Assembly sessions but the members were not convinced with this idea. The Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) voted in favour of attending the sessions.
Many senior leaders and MLAs opined that TDP should attend the Assembly in order to counter the YCP in any issue that will be discussed in the Assembly. But then what about Chandrababu’s presence?
After hectic deliberations, the TDP resolved the matter by avoiding Chandrababu. This means that only the TDP chief will not attend the Assembly sessions while all the MLAs and MLCs will attend the sessions.
Without Chandrababu, the TDP MLAs and MLCs will have a tough time to counter the YCP but then the party leaders are exuding confidence that they will do enough homework to tackle the ruling party.
