YCP firebrand leader and former minister Kodali Nani said that cabinet berth was equal to a hair on his scalp. He said that he would not give minister post much importance and that he would like to remain Gudivada MLA. At the same time, he told the mediapersons not to mention his designation as former minister but as Gudivada MLA.
During his visit to Dondapadu village to unveil the statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram, he said that he would be more worried if he lost his MLA post rather than his ministry. He said that he would love to work for Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy but not for a person like former CM and TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu, who had backstabbed a great person for his vested interests.
He lambasted the TDP leaders, Chandrababu’s foster son and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Naidu’s own son Lokesh and 420 gang for their propaganda that Jagan was turning Andhra Pradesh into another Sri Lanka. In his usual style of derogatory and insulting language, Kodali said that Andhra Pradesh would face doom, if it lost a great personality like Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also said that the state had already gone into the destructive mode after the death of former CM YSR, by getting bifurcated.
He said that Naidu was growing old and not able to keep track of what he was speaking and mocked at his foster son Pawan Kalyan saying that he was just roaming in the state without a proper cause.
He said he would try to draw inspiration from Babu Jagjivan Ram and be a people’s representative throughout his life.
Interestingly, people expected some dissatisfaction from Kodali for not being inducted into the Cabinet but he did not express any such feelings.
