AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju made a revelation on the capital, Amaravati and he kind of cleared the stand of his party on the capital row that is haunting the state ever since CM YS Jagan proposed for ‘Three Capitals’ for decentralisation of power.
“If BJP forms the next government in AP, the first signature file would be of Amaravati construction,” said Somu and he went on to add that the BJP government would complete the capital city construction in just three years.
However, Somu did not mention whether it’s the BJP-Jana Sena coalition government or just the BJP government that will take the responsibility of Amaravati construction. He confidently said that the construction of Amaravati is only possible with the BJP.
Every person in Andhra knows that BJP will not even secure a single Assembly or Parliament seat owing to the betrayal on granting the ‘Special Category Status’ and other promises that are needed to be fulfilled.
Yet Somu feels like BJP has high chances of forming the next government in AP. BJP needs to do a lot of ground work in AP like from building cadre to winning the local body polls. With less than one percent of overall vote share, BJP needs a miracle to take government.
The Andhra BJP chief needs to get his facts right and monitor the ground realities of his party’s influence among people.
