Dr. Sunitha Reddy, daughter of YS Vivekananda Reddy filed a fresh petition in the Telangana High Court accusing AP government of protecting Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy.
Sunitha stated that after the CBI has gathered all the credible information and evidences against Avinash Reddy that he conspired against Viveka’s murder and now he is trying to divert the case by making baseless allegations against Viveka’s personal family matters.
Viveka’s daughter appealed to the court that there were deliberate intentions in delaying the probe while the officials who are investigating the case are being troubled with dubious cases. The AP government is trying to manipulate the case with their actions.
Sunitha also raked up a couple of interesting points in her affidavit that the prime suspect Sunil Yadav appeared multiple times at Avinash Reddy’s residence a day before Viveka was murdered (March 14th, 2019). This is reaffirmed by a forensic analysis based on Google’s Tech Out.
When Viveka was murdered, Pulivendula CI J Shankariah included the names of Avinash Reddy and others as suspects and in the testimonial to CBI, he stated the same. But he changed it before the magistrate. On March 15th Avinash Reddy checked Viveka lying lifeless in a pool of blood and when a local leader with the name Shashikala reached Viveka’s residence, Avinash Reddy informed her that Viveka’s suffered a heart attack. Later Avinash Reddy called CI Shankariah and told that Viveka died of heart attack and blood vomiting and asked to send constables for security.
Sunitha’s petition is a lengthy one and the Telangana High Court is yet to take up the petition. It might happen this week and it would be interesting to see how the court directs the CBI to proceed with the ion.
