Sai Reddy noted the importance of Rajya Sabha and why the Upper House was formed even after having Lok Sabha which was directly elected by the people. Sai Reddy reasoned that Rajya Sabha was formed so that Lok Sabha may not pass the bills in rush or haste. He added that Rajya Sabha was formed with the experts in various fields of all the states. Vijay Sai Reddy is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce and Parliamentary Party Leader.
