YSRCP MP Margani Bharat triggered a controversy by praising the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the most irrelevant manner. Margani Bharat compared Jagan Mohan Reddy to Lord Vishnu and stated that it’s a sin to insult him. The comment generated strong reactions from all sections of the society.
Janasena party leader Kiran Royal responded by suggesting that MP Bharat should be admitted to a mental hospital, and he criticized the excessive praise of Jagan Mohan Reddy. This kind of political discourse can be polarizing and often reflects the deep divisions in Indian politics.
Margani Bharath elaborated that the name Jagan means Lord Vishnu and mentioned that people worship Lord Jagannath but do not curse him. Similarly, he asked those who constantly mock Jagan to refrain from doing and worshiping him, considering him a God.
Apart from the opposition leaders in the state, the netizens and public also found fault with the comments of Margani Bharath, stating that he should really be sent to a Mental hospital for his illogical and senseless comments.
On the other hand, Bharat is facing a lot of criticism from the public in his constituency, and he fears being denied of ticket for the upcoming elections. Hence, he could have taken up this path to impress Jagan by equaling him to God, which eventually can keep him in the CM’s good books.
