With the AP elections approaching in a few months, all the primary parties have shifted into election mode. Today, YSRCP, Telugu Desam, and JanaSena met Central Election Commission chief Rajeev Kumar at the Novotel Hotel in Vijayawada and made their complaints.
Vijayasai Reddy represented YSRCP and he complained against Nara Lokesh. He said Lokesh is threatening government officers and police officers by showing his red book and saying he has noted all their names and will take revenge after TDP forms the government in AP. Vijayasai requested the EC to take action against Lokesh for threatening officers with the red book, where he has noted down the names of the officers who sided with YCP to trouble TDP leaders in AP.
This isn’t the first time Nara Lokesh’s red book has come to the scene. The AP CID also filed a complaint against Lokesh’s red book at the ACB court and mentioned that he should be arrested for trying to intimidate government officers by noting down their names.
Lokesh had recently pointed out that his party men had to suffer a lot due to government officers acting on YCP’s command and promised to take action against them by noting down their names and giving it all back to them when TDP comes to power. This has unsettled YCP and the party is trying to diffuse the situation by using AP CID and also complaining to the EC against it.
