Nandamuri Balakrishna started a social media battle with his recent gesture where he asked to remove the banners of Jr NTR that were placed at the NTR Ghat on the occasion of NTR Vardhanthi. This has now become a mainstream debate even in the media and the same thing was observed in ABN’s debate last night.
In the ABN debate, Amaravati activist Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao claimed that Jr NTR is directly supporting YSRCP by showing intentional ignorance on TDP. “NTR’s silence when a lady from the Nandmauri family is abused itself gives a picture of his political standpoint. He didn’t support TDP when his own family members were being abused.” Srinivasa Rao said.
The Amaravati activist added “Let us put it in simple terms. On one side we have Chandra Babu and the TDP ecosystem, and the other side we have Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Of the two camps, who has more access to Jr NTR? And with which camp is Jr NTR more in touch with? It is obviously Nani’s camp and that is enough to show that Jr NTR is closer to YCP than TDP.”
However, hardcore supporters of Jr NTR are condemning this targeted approach against Jr NTR. They mention that NTR and Kodali Nani’s bonding goes way back as it needs to be remembered that Nani was the one who nurtured Jr from a young age and was there with him right from his childhood days. So it is natural for Jr NTR to have a liking for Kodali for personal reasons. Hard core NTR fans argues that these personal relations between NTR and Kodali shouldn’t be used to project NTR as an anti-TDP person.
With the elections less than three months from now, the NTR-TDP debate will take more shapes and forms on social media and also in mainstream media. But NTR is not publicly bothered about this as he is entirely focused on his film career for the time being.
