Andhra Pradesh Assembly sessions started on an intriguing note today with a lot of political action in the final budget session before the 2024 AP elections. The governor opened the session and he praised the YCP government for the reformative changes in education, irrigation, and public welfare schemes. But this was met with discontentment from TDP MLAs.
TDP MLAs walked out of the assembly while the governor was still giving his prolonged speech, protesting against the YCP government. They stated that the governor’s speech had no facts and that all of his statements were fabricated by YCP.
TDP MLAs walked out of the assembly by raising “Bye Bye Jagan” slogans and these chants resonated in the assembly hall. They questioned Jagan about the job calendar and special category status.
Nandamuri Balakrishna led the protests outside the assembly by holding a placard that read “Andhra Pradesh lo Araachaka Paalana”.
