Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have both entered a verbal battle. This happened after Jagan Mohan Reddy projected himself as a “Chinna pillodu” who has done so much for Andhra Pradesh and referred to Chandrababu as “Musalayana”(old man) who claims to be an experienced politician but has done nothing for the state.
Chandrababu took this verbal assault from YS Jagan pretty seriously and he in turn threw a physical challenge to the YSR Congress president.
‘Jagan calls me an aged man. I am challenging him to come and hold 4 public meetings a day in burning heat, like the way I am doing currently. I might be aging but my commitment to serving the public is superior to Jagan. My experience is more worthy than Jagan’s. I want you all to remember who planned and executed the hi-tech city in Hyderabad, it is Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan doesn’t have the right to comment about my age or experience” Chandrababu Naidu said.
Political analysts are commenting that Jagan Mohan Reddy tried to project Chandrababu as an old man and thus deplete TDP’s electoral prospects. But Naidu was alert to the planned attack from Jagan and countered it by exhibiting the importance of his experience for a struggling state like AP.
