For the most part of the last five years, Megastar Chiranjeevi was in the good books of the YCP government. But after Chiru donated Rs 5 crore to JanaSena and pledged support to TDP+ candidate CM Ramesh, he has all of a sudden become a villain in the eyes of YCP top leadership.
Speaking with the media yesterday, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy compared Chiranjeevi to jackals and hyenas. This didn’t sit well with Pawan Kalyan, and he immediately hit back at Sajjala.
“If Pawan Kalyan, as a person went from being a commoner from Narsapuram constituency to materializing an alliance between two heavyweights like BJP and TDP, it is because of Chiranjeevi garu and the platform he laid for me. If you speak badly about Chiranjeevi garu, I will not spare any single one of you,” Pawan said.
As Pawan said, Chiru is really an ‘Ajatha Sathruvu’ in the Film Industry as well as in Politics. So targeting Mega Star will only unite Mega fans further and bring them much closer to the TDP+ alliance. There are instances where Mega fans were not Happy the way AP CM Jagan treated Chiranjeevi in Tadepalli. Not all Chiranjeevi fans are supporters of Janasena; in fact, Chiru fans are in all political parties, so YCP social media targeting Chiru will only damage them by making the opposition stronger.
