Those who have been observing the political trends related to the geopolitical climate in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana opine that there is a truce between YSR Congress and BRS. There are many reports that KCR even provided all possible support to Jagan in the 2019 election.
CM Revanth Reddy himself hinted about the mutual understanding between Jagan and KCR in an interview. He said Jagan, being AP CM had the time to meet KCR after the hip surgery but didn’t have the time to even make a curtesy call when Revanth was elected as CM.
Now again, KCR has indirectly picked Jagan Mohan Reddy as his favourite candidate to win the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election.
In the interview that he partook last night, KCR said ‘I have received a few reports and they are clearly suggesting that Jagan Mohan Reddy will be the CM of AP again. This is according to my reliable information.’ In 2014 and 2019 KCR strongly wished Jagan to be CM of AP, but failed in 2014, with his full support in 2019, Jagan become CM.
After all the unannounced fight between BRS and TDP in Telangana where TDP provided back-end support to Congress’s win, it is natural for KCR to seek moral revenge in AP by praying for Jagan’s win against the TDP+ alliance, an observer remarked.
