Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is carving a niche for himself by being different from other politicians.
Politics involves criticism and outwitting rivals. However, Revanth Reddy has taken the route of constructive criticism and at the same time, is also trying to give value to his rivals for whatever they are which is impressing the public.
Revanth has shown that he has the ability to remain within the limits of the fine line between politics and personal relationships.
Apparently, he intends to set a new trend among politicians of being humble, honest and honoured.
June 2 is celebrated as the Telangana Formation Day and Revanth wants to mark the day with grand celebrations and make it memorable this year, as 2024 marks the decade year.
Reportedly, Revanth had already issued orders that the occasion should be marked with pomp and gaiety.
This year, the Telangana Formation Day would be celebrated at the Parade Grounds in Hyderabad and AICC former president Sonia Gandhi will also be invited to the programme.
She would be felicitated on the day as the Congress firmly says that separate Telangana has been a reality only due to her vision.
Revanth also instructed the officials to send special invitations to all the Telangana revolutionaries who fought against the oppressive forces. This includes BRS chief and former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao too. The CM feels that there is a need to specially felicitate KCR for whatever he had done to make separate state a reality.
Though Revanth has been criticizing KCR for heavy corruption and family rule during his tenure, he is not failing to accept the invaluable service of the former CM in the formation of separate Telangana. Criticism coupled with adulation is setting Revanth apart from others in politics and making him stand above the rest.
