4-time MLA from Macherla, Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy is one of the most debated MLA candidates in this year’s election. He gained all the negative attention in the world after a video of him destroying an EVM went viral on social media.
Fearing an arrest, Pinnelli approached the AP High Court and he was met with one good news and one bad news here.
The good news for Pinnelli is that the court has ordered the AP police authorities not to arrest the MLA till the 5th of June. This is in relation to the anticipatory bail petition filed by the Macherla MLA. He is free from police action till June 5th.
The bad news for Pinnelli is that the court has largely curtailed his presence in Macherla as the court ordered him to not go to the Macherla counting station on the 4th of June.
Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy must remain at the Narsaraopeta parliamentary segment till the 6th of June and he is not permitted to go to the Macherla counting station at any cost. The court ordered the police authorities to keep a close eye on Pinnelli till 6th June.
Though Pinnelli managed to escape the imminent arrest, his presence in Macherla has been largely curtailed.
