Babu @ Delhi: 45 Central Offices Returning To Amaravati

The irrational destructive model taken up by the bygone YSR Congress governemnt did a lot of damage to the reputation and image of Amaravati. But these days are part of the past now with the onset of the TDP+ government which has taken up Amaravati development as their focal goal.

CM Chandrababu who toured Delhi yesterday and met Modi, appears to have started his work with regard to Amaravati. Reportedly, Naidu appealed Modi to fas track the process of central government offices returning to Amaravati on a priority basis. Modi is said to have reacted positively and ensured prompt action.

Interestingly, less than 24 hours after Naidu’s trip, as many as 45 central offices that were priorly allocated lands in Amaravati have started to return to the capital area. Initially, these central administrative offices that work under the central government were supposed to come to Amaravati before 2019. But with the destructive precedent of YCP, these offices stood away.

Now again, Naidu has started rebuilding Amaravati and as a result of his effort, 45 central offices have notified Amaravati CRDA about their return to the capital region.

The CRDA is now expected to carry out the jungle clearance program to accommodate these offices in the lands that were priorly allocated to them.
