The much awaited announcement on the new TTD board chairman is finally out today. The NDA government, after serious contemplation has unveiled the list of 24-member panel and also announced the new TTD chairman.
As expected, BR Naidu, the owner of TV5 Media is the new chairman of TTD.
Naidu was always the favourite to bag the TTD chairman post, but YSR Congress tried to make a meal of it by planting a vested report linking him to a drug trade operation. But this narrative got busted rather quickly as YCP couldn’t back their claims with substantial evidence.
Shortly thereafter, the TTD body appointed BR Naidu as the new president. The senior pro will look after the TTD operations henceforth.
Apart from Naidu, there are three sitting MLAs who are a part of the new board and they are – Jyothula Nehru, Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy and MS Raju. Telangana‘s Nannuri Narsi Reddy is also on the list.
