It is a matter of fact that the YSR Congress is getting completely decimated in Andhra Pradesh. The party has been consistently losing senior leaders and even hardcore loyalists. To make matters worse now, Jagan’s childhood friend and his classmate S Rajiv Krishna has also deserted him.
For those wondering about Rajiv Krishna, he was a classmate of YS Jagan at the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet and the two of them had been together over the years. Jagan valued Rajiv so very much that he appointed the latter as the Special Advisor (Investments) to Govt of Andhra Pradesh when he was the CM. In last elections Rajiv Krishna contested for MLA from Nidadavolu constituency.
However, it appears that the terms between the two of them have taken a beating after the election. Rajiv, who was very active in government affairs while Jagan was the CM, slowly started expressing dissent and distanced himself from the YCP boss.
Cut to now, the well-read individual has decided to say goodbye to Jagan and he joined TDP in the presence of Nara Lokesh today. Losing politicians and senior leaders is one thing, but losing longtime friends and close people must be a tough pill to swallow for Jagan.
