Kapu community veteran Mudragada Padmanabham had a horrendous election campaign this year as he vehemently supported YCP thinking Jagan would be the CM again. His confidence was such that he even challenged to change his name to Mudragada Padmanabham Reddy if YCP didn’t win. Sadly for him, he had to change his name after YCP got confined to 11 seats.
After the polls, Mudragada was briefly inactive in politics as he maintained a low-key stance. However, he went on the offensive today as he wrote an open letter to CM Chandrababu.
In his letter designated to the CM, Mudragada Reddy wrote that Chandrababu came to power through false Super Six promises. He remarked that Chandrababu knew full well that imposing such promises was fiscally tough but still used them to gain votes in the election. He referred to Babu as Mosala Mukhyamanthri in this letter.
The main motive of this letter is evidently to sling mud at the NDA government. Knowing full well that it has been only five months since the onset of the Chandrababu government, Mudragada Reddy went all out in his verbal attack.
However, the credence of this post from Mudragada is in question now. Had he made such comments at a Kapu revolutionary activist, it would have caught the public’s eye. But considering the fact that Mudragada is more or less operating as a YCP activist, there might not be too much traction for the same now.
