Telugu Ayyappas Facing Trouble in Kerala, Lokesh Steps In!

Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh is proving to be a people’s leader with incident after incident. In the latest development, he quickly assisted a group of Ayyappa devotees from Goduguchinta village in Vedurukuppam Mandal, Nellore Constituency, who were struggling in Kerala.

Going into the details, the devotees encountered difficulties during their pilgrimage to Sabarimala. They faced a road accident en route and were subsequently detained by the Kerala police despite not being at fault. Despite their appeals, the group expressed their distress in a video, stating they were being held without proper cooperation from the authorities.

Minister Nara Lokesh, upon seeing the video, contacted the Kerala government and assured the devotees via X. As soon as he came across the video, he wrote, “Noted. We’ll contact the Government of Kerala and bring our people back home as soon as possible.”

After discussions with Kerala officials, Lokesh successfully facilitated the release of the detained Ayyappa devotees, enabling them to continue their pilgrimage to Sabarimala without further hindrance. The police officials also arranged food for them before releasing them.

The devotees, grateful for Nara Lokesh’s prompt action, expressed their heartfelt thanks. They also expressed gratitude to Nellore MLA Thomas, Tirupathi Parliamentary Convenor Bheemineni Chitti Naidu, and the media persons.

Lokesh’s initiation is impressive. He is filling confidence in people that the government will stand by them, no matter whatever the situation is.
