Jagan’s Political Show: Violating Election Code?

YS Jagan visited Guntur Mirchi Yard to address chilli farmers. As per YSRCP, chilli farmers are not getting fare prices in the present government. Questioning the AP government and in support of the farmers, YS Jagan interacted with them. Jagan along with his party leaders and cadre came in large number, as a show of strength. People were also mobilised in large amount.

At a time when MLC election code is in place as MLC election is scheduled to take place on February 27, Jagan violated the code and conducted this interaction. Even though EC officials denied permission yesterday, he went ahead with it. This has become a hot topic politically right now.

What’s surprising is that Jagan and co claim they faced challenges and obstructions and also raised security concerns. As a former CM, Jagan must be aware of the rules and regulations to be followed when the election code is in force. Jagan’s team must come up with better arguments and political allegations to corner the government instead of this usual, typical lame ones.

The other day, Jagan’s comments that Chandrababu is jealous of Vallabhaneni Vamsi and hence he was arrested had evoked laughs. Such statements and remarks only backfire and Jagan must realise this.
