After the Assembly began on Thursday, BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy made some remarks against Speaker Gaddam Prasad which kicked up a row between the ruling and Opposition MLAs.

The Congress leaders demanded that Jagadish Reddy tender an apology to the Speaker. The ruckus continued till noon and the House was adjourned.

In the afternoon, after reassembling in the House, the Congress leaders demanded that action should be taken against Jagadish Reddy for his remarks against the Speaker and they even reminded about dismissal of membership of Congress leaders Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sampat, during the BRS rule.

They made suggestions to the Ethics Committee and demanded action against Jagadish Reddy.

The conflict began yesterday itself when Jagadeesh made the remarks. Following this, the Congress and BRS leaders had heated exchange of words and at one moment, Komatireddy attributed the defeat of the BRS in the Assembly elections to the satirical remarks of the BRS leaders.
