Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay made controversial comments while campaigning for the GHMC elections in Hyderabad. Addressing the public Sanjay had said, “If BJP wins the GHMC Mayor, there will be a surgical strike on Old City. The Rohingya Muslims and Pakistanis from Old City will be eliminated.” He added that BJP is going to fight for Hindus.
These comments have created a huge storm and MIM has hit back at the BJP and Bandi Sanjay for making provocative comments. While, Asaduddin Owaisi had challenged Sanjay to prove the votes of Rohinyas, TRS working president and minister KTR too reacted on these comments and slammed the BJP. Smartly, KTR has tagged Union Minister Kishan Reddy into the row and tried to put the BJP in a tight spot.
“Surgical strike on Hyderabad?! Has this person gone completely insane for a few votes & seats!!,” tweeted KTR and asked union minister Kishan Reddy, whether he would support the comments. “@kishanreddybjp Garu, you are MoS for Home Affairs. Do you condone your colleague MP’s reprehensible, hate filled statements?” questioned KTR. Meanwhile, KTR has also shot off 50 valid questions to the BJP.
Looks like it is double trouble for BJP with Bandi’s comments. The moot question is whether MoS Kishan Reddy responds or not. If he does respond, what would be his response.
