Telangana health minister Eatala Rajender has been under the scanner of TRS leadership. Eatala is upset with internal party matters for the last 15 to 18 months and on a couple of occasions, he made controversial comments.
Yet again Eatala’s statements have raked up a huge debate within TRS party. Going into details, at the inauguration of ‘Rythu Vedika’ in Veenavanka Eatala said, welfare schemes such as Kalyani Lakshmi, pension will not drive poverty. Every government’s motto should be to eradicate poverty and people should be empowered.
Then Eatala got philosophical. “In my twenty years of journey, I have always stood by the people who wanted help. Likewise we should never say what we have done but it should remain in heart. I may been troubled and hurt yet I never changed my heart. Dharma and Justice may be behind for the time being but ultimately they will win,” said Eatala.
These comments of Eatala have raked up a row in TRS party. Learning about Eatala’s comments, he got a call from Pragathi Bhavan. TRS working president KTR met Eatala in Telangana Assembly and took him to Pragathi Bhavan in his car.
From the insiders we hear that it was KCR who asked KTR to bring Eatala to him. KCR is said to have asked Eatala an explanation for his comments.
This is not for the first time that Eatala made such comments. Earlier, the Huzurabad MLA said they are the real bosses of TRS party flag.
